The purpose of the role is to develop and implement effective strategies that enhance CAVA’s brand image and ensure clear and consistent communication with its target audience. The incumbent’s role involves managing the various aspects of branding, marketing, and communication activities for CAVA to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. Do Brand Strategy Development & Positioning Conduct market research and competitor analysis to gain insights into the athleisure industry and identify market opportunities & industry trends for CAVA & translate them into actionable strategies. Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with CAVA’s brand vision, values, goals & objectives. Define the brand positioning, key messages, and unique selling propositions for CAVA customers.
Brand Identity and Management Develop and maintain CAVA’s brand identity, including brand visuals, logos, typography, and overall brand aesthetics. Ensure consistent application of the brand across all touchpoints, including product packaging, retail spaces (if any), digital platforms, and marketing collaterals. Ensure design aesthetics & approvals on graphics to maintain the CAVA brand language Launch Plan Development Create launch plans for new products, collaborating with product development, marketing, and sales teams. Develop a comprehensive timeline that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and responsibilities. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a successful and impactful product launch. Marketing Calendar Creation Develop an annual marketing calendar that outlines key marketing campaigns, initiatives, and events. Align marketing activities with product launches, seasonal trends, and marketing objectives. Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns and initiatives within defined timelines. Digital Marketing & Communications Create and execute integrated marketing communication plans to effectively reach CAVA’s target audience and drive brand awareness. Oversee digital & marketing strategies, including social & print media management, content marketing, SEO optimization, paid advertising, events & influencer partnerships, and performance and retention analytics. Performance marketing overview and understanding metrics. Monitor digital analytics and leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve brand performance & sales growth on a month-on-month basis. Leverage digital platforms to build brand engagement, drive website traffic, and increase online sales for CAVA consistently.
Public Relations and Influencer Marketing - Develop and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and brand ambassadors. Manage PR activities, including press releases, media interviews, and event sponsorships. Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify CAVA’s brand reach and engagement.
Partnerships and Collaborations - Identify strategic partnerships and collaborations that align with CAVA’s brand values and target market. Collaborate with like-minded brands, fitness studios, athletes, and wellness influencers to create co-branded campaigns and drive brand exposure. Brand Performance Analysis Monitor and analyze key brand metrics, such as brand awareness, customer perception, and sales performance. Utilize market research, customer feedback, and data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of brand and communication strategies. Identify opportunities for improvement and optimize campaigns for sales growth at CAVA
Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and senior leadership, to ensure brand consistency and alignment across the organization.
Budget Management - Develop and manage the brand and communication budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Monitor expenditures and provide regular reports to the CAVA management team. Display Behavioral Competencies Execution Excellence Analytical Excellence Ideation Creativity Learning Agility Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with teams Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Proven experience as a Brand Manager or in a similar with an experience of 3-5 years Strong understanding of brand development, brand positioning, and marketing strategies Experience in developing launch plans and marketing calendars Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis technique Knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content marketing strategies
